Eduardo Nevarez vs Orlando Blas

Boxing Daily Report from the Mahlangu Promotions promoted show at Montego Guitierrez Gym, San Luis Potosi,  taking place on 26/01/2026:

Clearly Mahlangu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-San Luis Potosi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eduardo Nevarez (6 - 8 - 4) who hails from Soledad de Graciano Sanchez, Mexico and Orlando Blas(4 - 5 - 2) from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  Nevarez weighed in at 140 pounds, while Blas weighed in at 139 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Selestino Bolanos, and the three ringside judges are Rico Borjas, Ulises Fosco and Ulises Fosco.  

Round 1: 

Nevarez pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Nevarez steps to the outside.  Blas hits home with a cross.  
Blas tries to land a right hook, but Nevarez slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Blas's body.
