Kris Tyre vs Rob Gorrie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Stuart Stealey Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 21/02/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kris Tyre (6 - 1 - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Rob Gorrie(17 - 2) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Tyre weighed in at 167 pounds and 12 ounces, while Gorrie weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Christeson, and the three ringside judges are Mason Bethel, Mark Ruskin and Mark Ruskin.
