Matthew Erhenede vs Hope Adenihun

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Nwoke, Kano,  taking place on 21/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Erhenede (11 - 7 - 4) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Hope Adenihun(6 - 3 - 2) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Erhenede and Adenihun weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jay-Jay Ukaegbu, and the three ringside judges are Chris Adebola, Efe Adadevoh and Gbolahan Lagelu.
