John Bullion vs Alen Brison

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Ian Simrell Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 27/01/2026:

Clearly Simasiku Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Bullion (9 - 6 - 2) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Alen Brison(3 - 4 - 3) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Bullion and Brison weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Kahukakanui, and the three ringside judges are Dave Loar, Harvey Dorch and Justin Kahukakanui.

Bullion pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.
