Kyle Breckon vs Mel Christopher

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Stuart Stealey Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 24/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyle Breckon (4 - 3 - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Mel Christopher(14 - 2 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Breckon weighed in at 112 pounds, while Christopher weighed in at 111 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Declan Ngarara, and the three ringside judges are Mark Ruskin, Jonathan Laurie and Alen Ritchey.
