Boxing Daily Report from the Assifuah Promotions promoted show at Umuahia Basha, Umuahia,  taking place on 24/02/2026:

Clearly Assifuah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Abia State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fraser Ezuruonye (5 - 9 - 1) who hails from Aba, Nigeria and Brown Akintola(5 - 5 - 4) from Aba, Nigeria.  Ezuruonye weighed in at 199 pounds And 15 ounces, while Akintola weighed in at 200 pounds.
