Chigozie Agu vs Izunna Oboli

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Oyo State promoted show at Olufemi Atulewa Gym, Oyo,  taking place on 27/01/2026:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Oyo State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Oyo State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chigozie Agu (7 - 7 - 3) who hails from Ogbomosho, Nigeria and Izunna Oboli(7 - 12 - 2) from Ogbomosho, Nigeria.  Both Agu and Oboli weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Basa, and the three ringside judges are Brown Mamudu, Nwankwo Bassey and Zain Yousuf.
