Hiroki Murano vs Hisao Ota

Boxing Daily Report from the Shungwa Promotions promoted show at Mitsui Garden Hotel, Chiba,  taking place on 07/03/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Kanagawa Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hiroki Murano (12 - 10(3) - 2) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Hisao Ota(6 - 9) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Murano and Ota weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daichi Shima, and the three ringside judges are Aki Nishimoto, Hisao Sugawara and Nori Ashikaga.  

Round 1: 

Murano is on target with a left hook.

Ota walks his opponent into the corner.  Ota throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Murano closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Murano steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Ota tries to tag Murano on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!
