Nwa Semakula vs Bob Olweny

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson Promotions promoted show at Rob Temmerman Gym, Lira,  taking place on 27/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Nwa Semakula (0 - 0) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Bob Olweny(1 - 15 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Semakula weighed in at 125 pounds And 10 ounces, while Olweny weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Greg Kibaki, and the three ringside judges are Yasin Dia, Ibeamaka Katumba and Yasin Abdelnour.  

Round 1: 

Semakula is on target with a left hook.

Semakula is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Semakula ties up his opponent.  Semakula is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Semakula about fouling.  
Semakula throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Semakula holds on to his opponent.  Semakula throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
