Javier Kabirou vs Ives Paquet

Boxing Daily Report from the Badalian Promotions promoted show at Maroua Longo, Maroua,  taking place on 23/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cameroon-Extreme-Nord Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Javier Kabirou (11 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Maroua, Cameroon and Ives Paquet(12 - 2 - 1) from Maroua, Cameroon.  Kabirou weighed in at 238 pounds and 6 ounces, while Paquet weighed in at 216 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Marc Jean, and the three ringside judges are Fabron Ndumu, Wyatt Nkoulou and Forrest Feydeau.

As Kabirou tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Paquet.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
