Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Tony Gwynn Stadium, San Diego,  taking place on 16/03/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jake Hoy (5 - 0) who hails from Modesto, USA and Chris Mungle(8 - 14(4) - 6) from Houston, USA.  Hoy weighed in at 233 pounds and 4 ounces, while Mungle weighed in at 227 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Seth Frith, and the three ringside judges are John Benitez, Alen Pryor and Mark Gardon.
