Rafael Batres vs Hernan Corrales

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Leon promoted show at Felippe Madrazo Gym, Leon,  taking place on 24/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nicaragua Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rafael Batres (8 - 1(1) - 2) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Hernan Corrales(7 - 2) from Masaya, Nicaragua.  Both Batres and Corrales weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Guillermo Eusebio, and the three ringside judges are Diego Cuesta, Marco Sabio and Xavier Pedrosa.
