Saturnin Biagan vs Juan Pantig

Boxing Daily Report from the Omaboe Promotions promoted show at Rodriguez Gonzalez, Rodriguez,  taking place on 29/01/2026:

Clearly Omaboe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Rizal Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Saturnin Biagan (14 - 4 - 1) who hails from Rodriguez, Philippines and Juan Pantig(7 - 0 - 1) from Antipolo, Philippines.  Both Biagan and Pantig weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Valverde, and the three ringside judges are Nemesio Banaticla, Angel Valverde and Oihane Apelin.  

Round 1: 

Pantig steps inside and is on target with a right hook to Biagan's body.  
Biagan steps inside.  Pantig sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
