Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Tatarstan promoted show at Kazan Borin, Kazan,  taking place on 27/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Russia-Tatarstan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valeri Kazan (11 - 0) who hails from Kazan, Russia and Alik Shipulin(10 - 10(1) - 1) from Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia.  Both Kazan and Shipulin weighed in at 160 pounds.
