Rafael Barcena vs Fresco Fuerte

Boxing Daily Report from the Sahaghyan Promotions promoted show at Madrid Monico, Madrid,  taking place on 25/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad de Madrid Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rafael Barcena (10 - 4) who hails from Madrid, Spain and Fresco Fuerte(10 - 4(1) - 4) from Madrid, Spain.  Both Barcena and Fuerte weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Ledezma, and the three ringside judges are Angel Cobos, Vegas Zara and Ignado Salome.  

Round 1: 

Barcena quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Fuerte attempts to land a cross, but Barcena sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
