Nicholas Caulfield vs Alec Algeo

Boxing Daily Report from the Billy Smith promoted show at Sijabala Gym, Birmingham,  taking place on 25/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicholas Caulfield (13 - 2 - 1) who hails from Hoover, USA and Alec Algeo(12(1) - 0) from Mobile, USA.  Both Caulfield and Algeo weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Younie, and the three ringside judges are Brin Prentis, Seth Pyper and David Nist.  

Round 1: 

Algeo hits home with a left uppercut.  
Caulfield drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Algeo tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.
