Arnold Snyman vs Asavela Motupa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 28/02/2026:

Clearly AI South Africa-Gauteng have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arnold Snyman (10 - 3 - 2) who hails from Pretoria, South Africa and Asavela Motupa(11 - 5 - 2) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both Snyman and Motupa weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isaac Chohan, and the three ringside judges are John Nzambi, Voshon Adams and Fraser Mulder.
