Rikard Petri vs Trent Geppert

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Switzerland-East promoted show at Winterthur Bladow, Winterthur,  taking place on 31/01/2026:

Clearly AI Switzerland-East have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Switzerland-East Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rikard Petri (6 - 8 - 2) who hails from Bern, Switzerland and Trent Geppert(10 - 7 - 1) from Zurich, Switzerland.  Both Petri and Geppert weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendis Horn, and the three ringside judges are Vilhelm Picht, Dearg Bieneman and Odie Pelzel.  

Round 1: 

Geppert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Petri is on target with a jab.  
Petri finds the target with a jab.  
Geppert tries to land a cross, but Petri slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Geppert closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.
