Tariq Noori vs Ricky Ojambo

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson Promotions promoted show at YMCA Ground, Kampala,  taking place on 07/03/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tariq Noori (11 - 0 - 1) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Ricky Ojambo(11 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Noori weighed in at 239 pounds And 15 ounces, while Ojambo weighed in at 214 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rehman Madani, and the three ringside judges are Michael Takuba, Jay Mwesige and Rehman Shaikh.  

Round 1:
