Hugh Lynch vs Paul McConnel

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Royal Albert Hall, London,  taking place on 03/04/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight are the Western Europe Heavyweight and British Heavyweight titles.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Channel 5, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hugh Lynch (17(8) - 2) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Paul McConnel(19 - 3(1)) from Manchester, UK.  Lynch weighed in at 229 pounds and 4 ounces, while McConnel weighed in at 249 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Murphy, and the three ringside judges are Justin Dalton, Robert Hill and Harry Gwilym.
