Eric Owens vs William McQuire

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Royal Albert Hall, London,  taking place on 03/04/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Channel 5, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Eric Owens (21(7) - 1) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and William McQuire(11 - 6(2) - 1) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Owens and McQuire weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Dalton, and the three ringside judges are Charlie Murphy, Robert Hill and Harry Gwilym.  

Round 1: 

McQuire steps inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.
