Nikolai Matughanoff vs Saleh Babayev

Boxing Daily Report from the Classy Boxing promoted show at Shymkent Cajrckulow, Shymkent,  taking place on 28/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nikolai Matughanoff (7 - 0) who hails from Shymkent, Kazakhstan and Saleh Babayev(14 - 3 - 1) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  Matughanoff weighed in at 140 pounds, while Babayev weighed in at 139 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jamil Bajckodamoff, and the three ringside judges are Fedar Baimuratov, Jamil Bajckodamoff and Azam Zaiylckanoff.  

Round 1:

Babayev has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
