Morgan Mingui vs Vuyisile Matlala

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Cape Town De Jongh, Cape Town,  taking place on 01/03/2026:

Clearly AI South Africa-Western Cape have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Western Cape Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Morgan Mingui (4 - 0) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Vuyisile Matlala(1 - 4 - 1) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Mingui weighed in at 111 pounds and 5 ounces, while Matlala weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kasi Hlatshwayo, and the three ringside judges are Luvolwethu Nyatama, Oringo Arthur and Madisha Mini.
