Derya Baykal vs Derya Akagunduz

Boxing Daily Report from the Jumbo Promotions promoted show at Murat Gruda Gym, Ankara,  taking place on 01/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Ankara Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Derya Baykal (14 - 0) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Derya Akagunduz(11 - 5(1) - 2) from Ankara, Turkey.  Baykal weighed in at 239 pounds and 13 ounces, while Akagunduz weighed in at 238 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Selim Alptekin, and the three ringside judges are Batur Atli, Mehmet Gozubuyuk and Ilker Gruda.
