Forrest Noel vs Yves Hugo

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Stade de DUC Dakar, Dakar,  taking place on 28/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Forrest Noel (18 - 0) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Yves Hugo(7 - 4 - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Noel and Hugo weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gaston Ndong, and the three ringside judges are Rush de Brosse, Romain Ndong and Aramis Gassama.  

Round 1: 

Noel lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Noel gets on the inside.  Hugo hits home with a left hook.  
Noel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Noel lands a stinging jab.  
Noel manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Noel lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Noel steps inside.  Hugo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Noel digs in a solid left hook to Hugo's liver.  
Noel pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Noel lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Noel clinches his opponent.  Hugo leans on his opponent using all his weight. Noel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hugo switches the action to the outside.  Noel lands a sharp overhand right.
