Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Abu Dhabi promoted show at Abu Dhabi Awon, Abu Dhabi,  taking place on 02/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the UAE-Abu Dhabi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Abu Dhabi Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jawad Abdu (12 - 0) who hails from Al Ain, UAE and Azam Abid(6 - 0 - 1) from Abu Dhabi, UAE.  Abdu weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Abid weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Abdul Hansuns, and the three ringside judges are Abdul Hansuns, Haider Hawi and Atif Jameel.
