Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Lira Ellahi, Lira,  taking place on 02/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda-Northern Region Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duante Ssegwanyi (8 - 3 - 1) who hails from Lira, Uganda and Glynn Kisitu(14 - 1) from Gulu, Uganda.  Both Ssegwanyi and Kisitu weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ricky Ssekimwanyi, and the three ringside judges are Felix Tumwesigye, Keshawn Drito and Declan Mukooza.
