Matviyko Maruska vs Symon Franko

Boxing Daily Report from the Asiku Promotions promoted show at Danylko Kosko Gym, Kiev,  taking place on 02/02/2026:

Clearly Asiku Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ukraine-Kiev Oblast Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matviyko Maruska (12 - 3 - 3) who hails from Kiev, Ukraine and Symon Franko(16(3) - 0) from Kiev, Ukraine.  Both Maruska and Franko weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vasyl Stasiuk, and the three ringside judges are Igor Wolsky, Taras Bunda and Yevhen Taran.  

Round 1: 

Maruska attempts to land a cross, but Franko blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.
