Xabat Leanos vs Frisco Amparan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uruguay-Montevideo promoted show at Montevideo Yepes, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/02/2026:

Clearly AI Uruguay-Montevideo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay-Montevideo Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xabat Leanos (9 - 7) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Frisco Amparan(6 - 10) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Leanos and Amparan weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jair Vilchis, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Barco, Xaverius Gramajo and Ryo Canedo.
