Juan Vargas vs Gervasio Vaca

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Aragua promoted show at Guido Salamanca Gym, Maracay,  taking place on 02/02/2026:

Clearly AI Venezuela-Aragua have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Aragua Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Vargas (4 - 5(1) - 3) who hails from Turmero, Venezuela and Gervasio Vaca(8 - 9 - 3) from Maracay, Venezuela.  Both Vargas and Vaca weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Hernandes, and the three ringside judges are Montel Verdin, Alejandro Laurel and Nicandro Callejas.
