Selestino Forero vs Macario Monserrate

Boxing Daily Report from the Chibawe Promotions promoted show at Alano Carreon Gym, Maracay,  taking place on 02/03/2026:

Clearly Chibawe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Aragua Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Selestino Forero (9 - 1) who hails from Maracay, Venezuela and Macario Monserrate(3 - 8 - 1) from Maracay, Venezuela.  Forero weighed in at 147 pounds, while Monserrate weighed in at 146 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Laurel, and the three ringside judges are Quin Alamo, Ignado Baldonado and Fausto Cuervo.
