Rex Douillet vs Dai Fiel

Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman Promotions promoted show at Aviator Sky Mezzanine, New York City,  taking place on 02/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Douillet (11(5) - 0) who hails from Pittsburgh, USA and Dai Fiel(2 - 3 - 3) from Sacremento, USA.  Both Douillet and Fiel weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Barro, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Mudie, David Madoc and Robert Thom.  

Round 1: 

Douillet steps inside and digs in a left hook to Fiel's ribs.  Douillet clinches his opponent.  Douillet leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Douillet pushes his forearm into Fiel's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Douillet.  
Douillet drives a left hook into Fiel's body.  Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Douillet throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Douillet to stop fouling.  
Douillet finds the target with a jab.  
Douillet is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Douillet is on target with a left uppercut.  
Douillet lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Fiel gets on the inside.  Douillet is on target with a right hook to Fiel's ribcage.  Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Douillet leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Douillet throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Douillet clinches his opponent.  Douillet leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fiel throws a left hook, but Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Douillet leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Douillet manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Douillet lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fiel's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Douillet gets on the inside.  Fiel tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  FIEL IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Douillet!
