Duncan Sneddon vs Patrick Abel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kansas promoted show at Joshua Marchbanks Gym, Wichita,  taking place on 03/02/2026:

Clearly AI USA-Kansas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan Sneddon (7 - 3 - 1) who hails from Wichita, USA and Patrick Abel(4 - 8 - 3) from Wichita, USA.  Both Sneddon and Abel weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Trumble, and the three ringside judges are Henry Eddington, Kai Salmond and Jay Bonar.  

Round 1: 

Sneddon pivots to the left of his opponent.  Abel tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Abel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Sneddon pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Sneddon voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Abel tries to tag Sneddon on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Abel connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sneddon's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Sneddon's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
