Kyan Mfune vs Nabulung Makwiza

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Copperbelt promoted show at Trory Badat Gym, Ndola,  taking place on 02/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zambia-Copperbelt Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyan Mfune (6 - 6 - 3) who hails from Kitwe, Zambia and Nabulung Makwiza(3 - 3 - 1) from Kitwe, Zambia.  Mfune weighed in at 121 pounds and 10 ounces, while Makwiza weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Denzel Silwimba, and the three ringside judges are Mykelti Shona, Tavarius Kasanka and Kendis Sipula.
