Lothar Stein vs Jakob Jost

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Bob Note Promotions promoted show at The Concert Hall, Aarhus,  taking place on 14/03/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lothar Stein (18(13) - 0) who hails from Regensburg, Germany and Jakob Jost(11 - 1) from Stuttgart, Germany.  Both Stein and Jost weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Canute Gissel, and the three ringside judges are Quinby Bornhoft, Vannevar Hustedt and Egil Hjelm.  

Round 1: 

Stein digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Stein holds on to his opponent.  Jost is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Jost and breaks the clinch.  Stein tries to land a right hook, but Jost parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Stein quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jost attempts to land a left hook, but Stein slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Jost is looking to close the distance.  Stein pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Jost throws a right uppercut, but Stein holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Stein pushes his forearm into Jost's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Stein to stop fouling.  
Jost drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Stein steps to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Stein advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Stein clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Stein lands a right hook.  Stein throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Stein advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head, DROPPING JOST TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Jost quickly recovers.
