Sergey Kaplan vs Santiago Carrera

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Royal Albert Hall, London,  taking place on 03/04/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the European Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Channel 5, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are The Stationer Sergey Kaplan (22(15) - 1) who hails from Ufa, Russia and Santiago Carrera(14 - 2 - 1) from Mostoles, Spain.  Kaplan weighed in at 108 pounds, while Carrera weighed in at 107 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Murphy, and the three ringside judges are Robert Hill, Harry Gwilym and Justin Dalton.  

Round 1: 

Kaplan steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Kaplan closes the distance.  Carrera throws a right hook, but Kaplan holds on to his opponent.  Kaplan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Kaplan advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Carrera on the ropes.  Kaplan throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Kaplan lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
