Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Don Haskins Convention Center, El Paso,  taking place on 07/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Americas Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Javier Villicana (20(11) - 1 - 1) who hails from Trujillo, Peru and Hernan Trinidad(17(1) - 1) from Oruro, Bolivia.  Both Villicana and Trinidad weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Orlando Merlin, and the three ringside judges are David Smyth, James Galbraith and Michael Milne.
