Leon Weatherley vs Ulises Almeida

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Don Haskins Convention Center, El Paso,  taking place on 14/03/2026:

Clearly Rattlesnake Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Weatherley (18(10) - 0) who hails from Oxnard, USA and Ulises Almeida(16 - 0) from Havana, Cuba.  Weatherley weighed in at 241 pounds and 8 ounces, while Almeida weighed in at 230 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nicholas Wynne, and the three ringside judges are Ian Hesson, Danny Henderson and Mark Bellamy.
