Ra'id Ahmed vs Saiffeddine Elgoumri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Morocco-Meknes-Tafilalet promoted show at Aqil Bighrade Gym, Khenifra,  taking place on 05/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco-Meknes-Tafilalet Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ra'id Ahmed (1 - 0) who hails from Errachidia, Morocco and Saiffeddine Elgoumri(8 - 3 - 4) from Meknes, Morocco.  Both Ahmed and Elgoumri weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hanief Jadid, and the three ringside judges are Asil Ouhaddou, Girgis Azaay and Al-Jasa Boulaich.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ahmed has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
