Boxing Daily Report from the Garabetian Promotions promoted show at Azam Djabali Gym, Algiers,  taking place on 12/03/2026:

Clearly Garabetian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aftab Laref (6(1) - 0) who hails from Annaba, Algeria and Adnan Ben(3 - 4 - 3) from Oran, Algeria.  Laref weighed in at 146 pounds And 8 ounces, while Ben weighed in at 146 pounds And 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kashif Sahnine, and the three ringside judges are Waleed Sabbah, Haaris Sendid and Farhan Segura.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ben dabs at his face checking for damage.  Ben has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
