Arnie Aitkens vs Alastair Towns

Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman Promotions promoted show at Aviator Sky Mezzanine, New York City,  taking place on 06/03/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arnie Aitkens (14(3) - 1(1)) who hails from Gainesville, USA and Alastair Towns(1 - 2 - 1) from Bridgeport, USA.  Both Aitkens and Towns weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Barfoot, and the three ringside judges are Rob Bardsley, John Tennant and Chris Wigton.  

Round 1: 

Towns connects with a right uppercut.  
Aitkens advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Aitkens holds on to his opponent.  Aitkens is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Aitkens to stop fouling.  
Aitkens is on target with a stinging left hook.

Aitkens steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Aitkens clinches his opponent.  Aitkens throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Aitkens.
