Sylvain Belgard vs Ifeanyi Okoro

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Will Power Boxing Complex, Accra,  taking place on 10/03/2026:

Clearly TFI have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Sylvain Belgard (4 - 0) who hails from Bouake, Ivory Coast and Ifeanyi Okoro(2 - 3) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Both Belgard and Okoro weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Akafia, and the three ringside judges are Razi Adusei, Nabulung Berko and Brad Boakye.  

Round 1: 

Belgard attempts to land a left uppercut, but Okoro parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Belgard steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Belgard gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Okoro throws a right hook, but Belgard ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Okoro pushes his forearm into Belgard's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Okoro to stop fouling.  
Belgard throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Belgard lands a left uppercut.  
Belgard drives a right hook into Okoro's body.  
Belgard pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Belgard is looking to close the distance.  Belgard sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
