Xavier Franco vs Alano Malara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Gimnasio Municipal, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 16/03/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Honduras Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xavier Franco (13 - 0) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Alano Malara(14 - 4 - 1) from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  Franco weighed in at 122 pounds, while Malara weighed in at 121 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Adan, and the three ringside judges are Ora Zaragosa, Vicente Trigo and Angel Olivero.
