Paul McRobbie vs Waqar Fawaz

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Geelong Baseball Centre, Geelong,  taking place on 28/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul McRobbie (12 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Waqar Fawaz(18(1) - 2(2)) from Dammam, Saudi Arabia.  Both McRobbie and Fawaz weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sammy Lorimer, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Hinshaw, Gus Seward and Johnny Elias.  

Round 1: 

McRobbie gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.
