Apollo Contos vs Direnc Abdallah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Greece-Crete promoted show at TEI Indoor Sports Hall, Heraklion,  taking place on 17/03/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a tournament fight from Crete Classic II - H.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Apollo Contos (7 - 0 - 1) who hails from Piraeus, Greece and Direnc Abdallah(0 - 0) from Ankara, Turkey.  Contos weighed in at 241 pounds, while Abdallah weighed in at 230 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Iphitus Nicolaides, and the three ringside judges are Gregoire Lagos, Glaucus Drakos and Basile Milas.
