Drud Kurr vs John Gallagher

Boxing Daily Report from the Jacob Howes promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 27/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are The German Giant Drud Kurr (8(3) - 0) who hails from Chemnitz, Germany and John Gallagher(0 - 3 - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Kurr weighed in at 248 pounds and 4 ounces, while Gallagher weighed in at 237 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Liam Ryan, and the three ringside judges are Shane Cody, Lorcan Coleman and Lee Donnell.
