Angel Montijo vs Diego Vara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-San Juan promoted show at San Juan Menor, San Juan,  taking place on 12/02/2026:

Clearly AI Argentina-San Juan have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-San Juan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Montijo (12 - 3 - 1) who hails from San Juan, Argentina and Diego Vara(6 - 10) from San Juan, Argentina.  Both Montijo and Vara weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Avellaneda, and the three ringside judges are Larenzo Sanchez, Cris Lugar and Angel Bracero.  

Round 1:
