Shane Monahan vs Jacob Evens

Boxing Daily Report from the Goofy promoted show at The Paradise Room Pleasure Beach, Blackpool,  taking place on 13/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western Europe Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shane Monahan (15 - 4 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Jacob Evens(19(1) - 3) from Carlisle, UK.  Both Monahan and Evens weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jamie McNabb, and the three ringside judges are James McCarthy, Bradley Hughes and Timothy Yates.
