Hayden Girvan vs Rex Catherwood

Boxing Daily Report from the Kanda Promotions promoted show at Mark Kenley Gym, Surrey,  taking place on 13/02/2026:

Clearly Kanda Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-British Columbia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hayden Girvan (10 - 1) who hails from Richmond, Canada and Rex Catherwood(13 - 5 - 2) from Richmond, Canada.  Girvan weighed in at 126 pounds, while Catherwood weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zachary Kenna, and the three ringside judges are Paul Trott, Jacob Peairs and Mick Hanning.
