Francisco Matute vs Angel Gonsalez

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu Promotions promoted show at Diego Cardinal Gym, Medellin,  taking place on 13/02/2026:

Clearly Ofosu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Antioquia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Francisco Matute (5 - 6 - 2) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Angel Gonsalez(12 - 2) from Medellin, Colombia.  Matute weighed in at 147 pounds, while Gonsalez weighed in at 146 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bronco Barragan, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Yero, Oihane Colon and Alvino Navarrete.  

Round 1:
